Sit comfortably, spine tall, hands resting on the knees.
Close the eyes, or soften the gaze toward the floor.
Breathe in slowly through the nose for a count of four.
Hold gently for a count of two.
Breathe out slowly for a count of six.
Repeat, silently returning to the breath whenever the mind wanders.
Close with three slow repetitions of Om Shanti.
